Senior Quantity Surveyor
(Sabah - Based in Kota Kinabalu)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall QS section operation for projects assigned under your charge(take-off, BQ & Material, Tendering & Cost Analysis, WO, Certification & VO, Developer Coordination, Drawings & Consultant Coordination and Construction & Commercial Admin).
• Accountable for the full spectrum of QS functions of projects assigned under your charge.
• Plan, Organize and Lead the QS department and all aspect of QS support to the Company.
• Ensures that all QS activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner, set targets for the team members and provide the necessary coaching to further optimized performance.
• Responsible for initiating improvement in the Quality System, making proper recommendation, follow-up and taking the necessary action.
• Responsible to check and verify site requisition on materials, equipment and contracting works.
• Responsible to liaise with Project Manager and monitor sub contractor tender and works.
• To liaise with Consultant on pre and post project matter
• To prepare cost control or cost comparison from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in QS or equivalent.
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Previous exposure to condominium / apartments projects a prerequisite. Ability handle multiple projects and engage tasks. IT literate.
• Able to work independently.
• Good communication skills, matured personality, positive attitude and committed.
